A: THE PAPERCRAFTING ROADSHOW IS A SCRAPBOOKING EXPO FILLED WITH YOUR FAVORITE PAPERCRAFTING AND SCRAPBOOKING (AND ONLY PAPERCRAFTING!) VENDORS. Q: Where and when will The Papercrafting Roadshow be held? A: The Papercrafting Roadshow will be held September 21-22, 2018 from 9am-4pm each day at the Kalamazoo County Expo Center 2900 Lake St, Kalamazoo, MI 49048 Q: What does admission cost? A: From now until December 31, 2017 buy online for only $3 per day. After that, admission for ages 9 years old and older is $5 per person per day-cash. 8 and under are FREE. Please remember: General Admission is included with your all day cropping ticket. Q: How can I get into the event for FREE? A: Check our facebook page often. We have many contests and giveaways there. OR volunteer! Thank you! Q: Can I pay admission with a credit card or check at the door? A: Cash only at the door. Q: Can I pay admission with a credit card online? A: Yes, please do so here. Additionally, you'll be rewarded with an extra raffle ticket. Q: Do you offer gift certificates? A: Yes! Please email us for more information and we'll get one right out to you. OR buy a ticket online in that person's name. Tickets for regular admission can be found here. Tickets for cropping can be found here. Q: How much does parking cost? A: FREE! Q: Are there long lines? A: Traditionally, upon opening there have been long lines. Please plan accordingly. Lines usually begin around 8:30am and there is a long line until 10am. The doors do not open until 9am. If you arrive early, you will need to wait until 9am to go through admissions. If there are many people ahead of you then you will not get into The Papercrafting Roadshow right at 9am. Pro tip: Late morning and afternoons are a breeze to get through admissions. Q: Will there be AC or Heating at the Kalamazoo County Expo Center? A: Yes, they are a professional expo center with a very good HVAC system! Q: Can I crop at The Papercrafting Roadshow? A: Yes! Please click here for all the details. Q: Can I leave The Papercrafting Roadshow and then return? A: YES! Your admission is for all day Friday or all day Saturday. You do need to have a wristband/pay admission when returning the second day. If you need to leave, you may, just remember to get your hand stamped for readmission! Q: Will there be demonstrations? A: YES! The demonstrations will be at specific vendor’s booths. Please reach out to our vendors to see what their exciting demonstration will be this year! Q: How much do the demonstrations cost? A: The majority of demonstrations are free. Q: Will there be giveaways? A: Yes, we’ve already started listing the free giveaways on our Demonstration and Giveaways page. Check it out and then come to The Papercrafting Roadshow to win fun more free stuff! Q: Will there be classes? A: Yes Q: Are children allowed? A: Yes, of course, this is a family friendly event. However, please NO strollers, pushcarts, or rolling carts. Q: Will vendors accept credit cards or checks? A: That decision is made by each vendor. Please feel free to check our Vendor List and reach out to our vendors. Many of our vendors will be utilizing the Square for credit card payments. Q: Is there an ATM on site to withdrawal cash? A: Yes there is! Q: I have a disability. Is there wheelchair access? A: Yes, absolutely. We can accommodate walkers, wheelchairs, canes, and service animals. Service animals get free admission. Q: How do I become a vendor? A: For more information and to receive an application, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org Q: What if I want to stay the weekend? Where should I stay? A: Mention The Papercrafting Roadshow to Holiday Inn and Suites Kalamazoo and book a two queen or one king hotel room for $118 (compared to $151). This deal is for the nights of: September 20, 21, and/or 22 2018. The Holiday Inn is 1.8 miles from The Kalamazoo County Expo Center. There is free hot breakfast, a heated indoor pool, and a fitness center. The rooms have a microwave, mini fridge and coffee maker. The phone number is 269-373-0770.
